Sarbanes-Oxley act of 2002 has ushered in sweeping changes to corporate governance, putting compliance issues at the forefront for U.S. public companies. Organizations have had to develop new strategies to meet the new rules and regulations related to the act. These strategies range from management of internal controls to new guidelines for the Board of Directors. He is a member of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Academy of Management, and American Psychological Association. Hayes also teaches graduate level courses in Organizational Behavior and human resource management. Dr. Hayes holds a Doctorate degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology and degrees in both Business Administration and Accounting, and Psychology.
