Kenexa celebrated this Independence Day with a message of saving the environment by planting trees. This was a part of Kenexa Green Campaign which aimed to harness the collective strength of Kenexans across the globe to make a difference and reduce the carbon footprint. The campaign was also supported by the Vizag IT association and Young Indian NGO.

All IT employees in the city were invited to take part in the noble act. Many IT professionals participated in a rally in Vizag and distributed more than 1500 saplings to the public and created awareness about saving the environment. Everyone participated in the rally was happy for contributing something to the environment on the Independence Day.
