With health care costs rising and employers increasingly shouldering the burden, many organizations have looked to lower health care costs through wellness programs, and others have gone a step further by rewarding physicians for effective treatment of mental health issues. In this webinar, we explore the current state of work stress, areas of employer liability, and what organizations can do internally to reduce employee work stress, moving the discussion beyond wellness plans to job, role, and culture change.

Utilizing the Kenexa Research Institute’s WorkTrends international database, we find that 12% to 38% of employees in the study countries report unreasonable amounts of work stress. The drivers of work stress include the employee’s immediate job tasks and work-life balance, lack of a career path, closed communication channels, unsafe working conditions, untrustworthy leadership, and insufficient managerial skills. The webinar reviews the data and recommends organizational interventions to promote employee health, productivity and attrition.
