Features

Measuring Fit
Kenexa applies two techniques in order to assess the best fit of each candidate:

Supplementary Fit: Ensures that the value or job preferences of the applicant are similar to or match that of the environment. The more similar the characteristics of the environment are to the applicant’s preferences, the higher the fit will be.

Objective Fit:  Ensures that the most appropriate design is taken to assess fit. In comparing a profile from the organization with individual profiles from the applicant pool, Kenexa is able to determine which applicants would have the best fit.  A strong match between the organization’s profile and an applicant’s profile indicates a high fit.

Kenexa Cultural Fit
Kenexa Cultural Fit is used to assess whether a candidate endorses the corresponding organizational values and fits within the organizational culture. By matching the values of an applicant to the current cultural values espoused by the organization, Cultural Fit is an ideal tool for use during the hiring process. This assessment can also be used to reinforce or establish change within the organizational culture if needed.

Developed from a library of more than 140 organizational values, Kenexa Cultural Fit can be used as an off-the-shelf solution or can be customized to meet each organization’s individual needs and values. Cultural Fit is best used when turnover is high due to mismatch between organizational and employee values or when organizations are in the midst of a change effort.

Kenexa Job Fit
Kenexa Job Fit assesses whether specific job characteristics reflect the needs and preferences of the applicant. Appropriate for use in candidate selection, Job Fit is quick and easy-to-use, and relates to work attitudes including job satisfaction, organizational commitment and intentions to quit.

Kenexa Job Fit assessment is based on a series of 54 job characteristics, which are first sorted according to the degree of descriptiveness by the organization. Applicants then rate the same 54 characteristics and a match is calculated between the applicant profile and the job profile. A high job fit indicates that the job preferences of the applicant are consistent with the actual characteristics of the job.
