Assessment and Development Centers
Assessment and Development Centers are popular tools today—yet most do not measure behaviors well. This is a serious issue for organizations that rely on them because appointments, promotions and development plans are often based on their findings.
Kenexa’s Assessment and Development Centers have been proven to measure behaviors effectively and predict future performance accurately—and work for two main reasons:
- They are based on a sound theoretical model
- We insist on extremely thorough assessor accreditation
Sound and Robust Model
A leadership model needs to be based on solid research, with a close link between behaviors and performance. It needs to be relevant to today’s fast-paced and dynamic environment and resist any traditional biases towards the more power-based behaviors.
Our Assessment and Development Centers also:
- Include a measure for negative use of a behavior
- Differentiate different behaviors clearly
- Are tested for relevance to your organization
- Are tested to ensure that all measures are accurate and consistent
Thorough Assessor Accreditation
Kenexa Assessment and Development Center assessors receive a minimum of 100 hours of study and training before they formally assess participants. Furthermore, the reliability of assessors to accurately identify behaviors is essential. Kenexa’s inter-rater reliability is a minimum of 80 percent.
