When I was 16 years old and received my driver's licence, I was obsessed with driving fast and for youth the consequence of speed is often recklessness. Unfortunately for my parents and their insurance bill, in my case it resulted in 11 accidents in my first two years of driving. Thank goodness, my driving patterns have changed. But the relationship between youth and speed holds true in the workplace.<br />
<br />
Over 40 percent of the Middle East and Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) is under working age (compared to 20 percent in the West). You may be asking, &quot;What does this mean for leaders?&quot; Simple, it means that you will be leading the youth bulge as they enter the workforce. For the next couple of decades leaders in the GCC will need to be experts on leading a young workforce.<br />
